I couldn't help myself and took some video of Murphy, my friend's border collie. He always has to keep tracking something. Watch this video and you'll see him turning the exersaucer around to watch the mirror reflect on the wall.

To Russia and Sweden I go

I bought my airline ticket today for Russia and Sweden. I'm joining a group of Americans to visit orphans and the elderly in St. Petersburg, Russia in September. Since the mid-1990's I've always wanted to help the orphans in that part of the world and now seemed like a good time to try to go. Afterwards, I'm going to stop over in Stockholm to visit my distant relatives for a week. Sweden is where my paternal great-grandparents came from so I've always wanted to see what it was like and meet my relatives.

I'm on a roll now!

Learning how to embed sounds has been fun so here is another sample of a song I wrote that was recorded by my brother. It is an instrumental piece entitled "New Day". You'll have to press stop on the controller for St. Patrick's Prayer and then press play on New Day. Both controllers are on the sidebar. Let me know what you think. If you get tired of the music just press stop on the controller that's playing.

Embedding sound into my blog

This afternoon I learned how to embed sound into my blog! Now when you enter my blog you will hear a song I wrote several years back that was recorded by my brother while he was a recording student. I named it St. Patrick's Prayer because the lyrics (which aren't recorded) follow the words of the prayer. All the instruments were from the Yamaha Motif. I hope you enjoy the music as you browse the blog.
