I love music. The main reason I love music is because it is how I best communicate with God. It is a mystery how God communicates, one that I don't fully understand but I'm glad when I hear Him.
Today the Lord took me on a journey from singing about His love to creating a new song about His light. After singing it through many times and catching on to the melody I started to realize what the Lord was trying to say. He wanted to remind me that His light is always shining, penetrating through the darkness. And that thought filled me with hope and led me to read from the Bible in the book of John chapter 1. I want to share what I read so I'll end with these verses.
"In him(Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it....The true light(Jesus) that gives light to every man was coming into the world."
Jesus has come into the world and His light shines through the darkness!

This is so beautiful! I love music too, but sometimes I'm not sure how God wants me to use it. Sometimes it is just a form of listening!
When I saw the title, I immediately thought of Christmas. Russian Orthodox believers are celebrating Christmas tonight. May they see the Light and understand!
Amen to that! Yes I remembered after watching Russian News that today is Christmas in Russia.
