An inspiring movie to watch

I was so glad that I watched the Hallmark movie last night based on the true story of Irena Sendler a Polish social worker who helped to rescue 2500 Jewish children from the Warsaw ghetto during WWII. It was sad for me to watch and still hard to believe the extent of evil that happened during that war. However, amidst that evil came stories of courage and sacrifice like Irena Sendler. I hope you can take the time to watch this movie or even read about it on the website. After watching the movie, I remembered the bible verse that says, "Do not grow weary in doing good for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up." Because Irena did not give up so many lives were saved and touched. Thank you Hallmark for making a movie like this one.

A little good news

Reading an article today about how half a high school shows up for bible club really encouraged me that all is not going bad in the world. Check out the online line article: http://www.leader-vindicator.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=20291073&BRD=2758&PAG=461&dept_id=572984&rfi=6
It got me remembering the bible club at my high school, which was held in the band closet, where all the instruments and uniforms were stored. I am thankful for the Christian friends I had in school that influenced me in a positive direction. One in particular invited me to this bible club and Campus Life. God is good how He orchestrates together the events and path of our individual lives.
